Sycamore Township weighs Kemper Road development Oct. 8

A developer has applied to build on a Kemper Road property in Sycamore Township, with a public hearing set for Thursday, Oct. 8.

Bob Hutsenpiller filed the Planned Unit Development I application for 7446 E. Kemper Road, listed as Case ZC-2026-10 on the Zoning Commission's posted agenda. It is the only new business item.

The agenda does not describe what Hutsenpiller proposes to build. No staff report or site plan had been posted to the township's website as of Sept. 21.

Under township code, the Zoning Commission can approve, conditionally approve or deny a PUD I application without a separate Board of Township Trustees vote. An approved plan expires after one year if no building permit is issued.

The Oct. 8 meeting, chaired by Roger Friedmann, begins at 6 p.m. at the Township Administration Building, 8540 Kenwood Road. Residents can call 513-791-8447 for details.

The commission's next meeting is Thursday, Nov. 12.
