Free yoga wraps five-month season at Sycamore Township parks

Free Yoga in the Park sessions close out their 2026 season Saturday, Sept. 26, at Clete McDaniel Park and Sunday, Sept. 27, at Bechtold Park in Sycamore Township.

NKO Yoga, based in Deer Park, Ohio, has led the free weekly classes since early May, according to the township's parks department. The Saturday session at McDaniel Park begins at 9 a.m. The Sunday session at Bechtold Park starts at 10 a.m.

Advance registration is required through NKO Yoga's website. Participants should bring their own yoga mat. Sessions will be canceled in severe weather.

Clete McDaniel Park is at 11797 Old Solzman Road, near the playground. Bechtold Park is at 4312 Sycamore Road. Parks Supervisor Jason Petty can answer questions at (513) 792-7269 or [email protected].
