Twenty-eight Montgomery businesses will stay open late on Thursday, September 10, 2026, turning Historic Downtown Montgomery and the Montgomery Quarter into a Vegas-themed playground for one night.
Vegas in the Village, the city's annual passport-style crawl, runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and is free to attend, according to the City of Montgomery's event listing published July 14. Participants pick up a passport and map at one of two starting points, then fan out across restaurants, galleries, fitness studios, and shops collecting stamps at each stop.
The concept is simple: each stamp equals one raffle ticket. The more businesses you visit, the better your odds.
How it works
Passports are available starting at 6 p.m. at The Remington Room, 7813 Ted Gregory Lane, or Montgomery Quarter Residences, 7920 Cameron Lane. From there, participants stroll through the district visiting as many of the 28 listed businesses as they can. Each location offers games, giveaways, or surprises in keeping with the Vegas theme.
At 8 p.m., the action shifts to Montgomery Quarter Park, 9260 Montgomery Road, where a DJ, food, and drinks anchor the evening's main gathering. Raffles kick off at 8:30 p.m. Winners must be present.
Who's participating
The 2026 lineup spans the full range of the district's tenants: Forno Osteria and Bar, Bru Burger Bar, Kitchen Social, Montgomery Public House, The European Café, and Taglio on the dining side; The Hotel Rambler, the 128-room Hilton boutique hotel that opened in 2025; retail and creative spots like Gilded Indigo, Lilac & Lilly, Frame House Gallery, and The Art Spark; plus wellness and professional offices including Playlist Yoga, The Kove Wellness Collective, and Fifth Third Private Bank.
The city described the evening as "a high-energy night of fun" where businesses bring "the Vegas spirit with games, surprises, and goodies at every stop."
The event has run in prior years. A 2025 edition drew 36 participating businesses; this year's list stands at 28, though the city has not explained the change.
Montgomery Quarter context
The event showcases a district that has grown rapidly. Phase I of the Montgomery Quarter development is largely complete, with 148 residential units, 98,000 square feet of office space, and 22,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, according to a November 2024 city council column by Council Member Chris Dobrozsi.
