Only 36 people will get to taste their way through Downtown Montgomery and the Montgomery Quarter on Saturday, Sept. 26.
The Montgomery Arts Commission's guided walking food tour returns this fall with stops at six restaurants along a route that winds through the city's historic district and the newer Montgomery Quarter. Two tours depart at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., each capped at 18 participants. Tickets cost $39 per person, and attendees must be 21 or older.
Registration goes live Thursday, Sept. 3, at 9 a.m. on montgomeryohio.gov. The city restricts the tour to first-time attendees only.
Speed matters. When the city promoted its fall 2025 food tour on its Facebook page in August 2025, it noted that spring tours had filled to capacity within 30 minutes of registration opening. A prior year's tour sold out entirely, according to a separate city Facebook post.
Each tour runs about two hours. The city has not yet named the six participating restaurants for the fall 2026 edition.
The food tour is one of several Montgomery events this fall. Vegas in the Village is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10, the Montgomery Car Show follows Saturday, Sept. 12, and Lanterns & Landmarks is set for Saturday, Oct. 24.
