Bierman Autism Centers is now seeing patients at its new Blue Ash location, giving families along the city's corporate corridor a local option for autism diagnosis and therapy without an existing diagnosis.

The center at 10625 Techwood Circle held its grand opening Aug. 1 and is Bierman's second Greater Cincinnati site, joining its existing Mason facility. The company operates more than 30 centers across seven states.

As reported July 31, the Blue Ash center offers Applied Behavior Analysis therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy for children diagnosed with autism. It also provides diagnostic evaluations, meaning families who suspect their child may be on the spectrum can start the intake process without a confirmed diagnosis in hand.

The center serves children ages 18 months to 9 years. It accepts public insurance, private insurance and private pay.

Elizabeth Henry, director of services for Bierman Autism Centers in Ohio and a board-certified behavior analyst, told Local 12 on July 29 that each child's plan is tailored individually. "Every child that comes through the door has different things that they need to work on," Henry said ahead of the Aug. 1 opening. "Autism is a very individualized diagnosis."

Families interested in services go through an assessment conducted by a board-certified behavior analyst before beginning a program. According to Bierman's website, 72% of children who completed its recommended comprehensive ABA program between 2021 and 2025 transitioned to general education settings, with an average program length of 18 to 20 months.

The doors are open. The Techwood Circle location sits in the office park along Blue Ash's corporate corridor, where major employers including Cincinnati Children's and Procter & Gamble have operations.
