UC Blue Ash College will waive its $50 application fee for prospective students who apply on-site at either of two fall open houses.
Both events are free.
The open houses are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15, and Thursday, Nov. 5, both from 5 to 7 p.m. in Muntz Hall on the Blue Ash campus. Attendees can explore more than 50 academic programs, meet faculty and staff, and tour the 135-acre campus, according to the college.
The open houses follow a fifth straight year of enrollment growth at UC Blue Ash. The college's fall 2026 enrollment hit 5,074 students, a 3.7% increase over the prior year. The incoming class of 1,823 first-year students set a new record. Nearly 90% of those first-year students are from Ohio, and 60% are first-generation college students.
Dean Robin Lightner credited the college's faculty and staff in a Sept. 14 statement announcing the enrollment milestone. "Our sustained growth is due to our amazing faculty and staff who continue to build on our culture that always puts student success at the center of everything we do …" Lightner said.
According to the college, in-state tuition at UC Blue Ash sits just over $7,500 per year. The college maintains a 20-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio and offers free tutoring through academic support labs across campus. UC Blue Ash received a national Opportunity College designation in the Carnegie Classifications of Institutions of Higher Education in 2025.
Visitors to the open houses will also get a look at the Muntz Hall Atrium, which opened in fall 2025. The addition brought nearly 6,000 square feet of new space to the building, including five study rooms and a 25-foot-high, 9-foot-wide mosaic by Kentucky-based artist Guy Kemper.
