Sycamore fell 41-0 to ninth-ranked Middletown on Friday, Sept. 25, dropping to 0-6 on the season.
The loss at Middletown was the most lopsided of the Aviators' winless campaign. Sycamore was held scoreless for the first time in 2026, falling to 0-5 in the Greater Miami Conference (GMC) and last in the 10-team league standings.
Middletown, which entered the game 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the GMC, dominated throughout. The 41-point outburst was only the third time in the Middies' past 70 games that they topped 40 points, according to the Springfield News-Sun.
No individual player statistics from the game were available as of Saturday, Sept. 26.
