Three familiar vendors from Montgomery's Saturday farmers' market are heading to Montgomery Quarter Park for a mid-week market on Wednesday, Aug. 26, giving after-work shoppers a chance to grab dinner ingredients without waiting for the weekend.

The market runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at the park, located at 9260 Montgomery Road at the intersection with Ronald Reagan Highway. Parking is free.

Jessie's Garden, a microgreens specialist based in Oregonia, Ohio, will sell produce. Birch Creek Bakery out of Loveland will bring naturally leavened breads made with local organic flour. And Hilltop Family Meat and Milk rounds out the lineup with farm-raised products.

All three are regular vendors at the established Saturday Montgomery Farmers' Market, which runs 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 9609 Montgomery Road through October. The Wednesday pop-up is a smaller affair. The city describes it as "a very small farmers market."

The city posted the event listing on Aug. 17, encouraging residents to "take home something fresh for dinner."

Council Member Craig Margolis, in a February 2026 "Council Corner" column on the city's website promoting the Saturday market, wrote: "Come for the produce. Stay for the people. Participate in what makes Montgomery special."

It's unclear whether the Aug. 26 market is a one-time event or part of a recurring series at Montgomery Quarter. The city's listing does not specify additional dates.

Montgomery Quarter Park has several events on its calendar in the coming weeks. A free screening of "Top Gun: Maverick" is set for Saturday, Aug. 29, at 8:30 p.m., and Thursday evening concerts featuring Jimmy Lee King and Friends continue weekly through Sept. 3.
