Blue Ash's summer concert series gets one last shot on Friday, Aug. 14, after weather wiped out two of the final three shows this season.

The City of Blue Ash confirmed on X that morning that the Catalina Wine Mixer Band will take the Towne Square stage as scheduled, performing from 8 to 10 p.m. The show is free.

The announcement matters because the 2026 Park Pour Friday Night Concert Series lost two late-season dates to storms. Canceled concerts are not rescheduled or moved indoors under the city's policy, so the Aug. 14 show is the only remaining chance for residents to catch live music in the series this year.

What to know before you go

  • Who: Catalina Wine Mixer Band, a Cincinnati-based yacht rock tribute act specializing in 1970s hits
  • When: Friday, Aug. 14, 8–10 p.m.
  • Where: Towne Square, 9520 Towne Square Ave., Blue Ash
  • Cost: Free
  • Bring: A lawn chair

Towne Square sits inside a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, meaning attendees can purchase beer, wine and seltzers at the Higher Gravity booth starting at 7 p.m. and carry drinks throughout the park. The city said in a July 31 Facebook post that beverage proceeds benefit a local nonprofit; the specific beneficiary rotates each week.

A weather-shortened season

The 10-show series launched June 5 with Dat Band and ran most Fridays through the summer, featuring acts including Soul Pocket, Bluewater Kings Band and HiFi Honey. Two cancellations in the final stretch left the Catalina Wine Mixer as the season's last standing act.
